Another Devara Song, Another Copy Complaint On Anirudh!

South Indian music sensation Anirudh Ravichander is one of the busiest composers right now. For the past 10 years, he has been showcasing his talent in the Tamil film industry. He gave chartbuster tunes and background scores to many films. Some of his songs became popular across the nation and some big hero films went onto become blockbusters just because of his music. He tried to make a grand entry in Tollywood through 'Agnyathavaasi' but it backfired.

Though the songs are popular even today, the film ended up being a disaster. After giving music for two Nani films like 'Gang Leader' and 'Jersey', Anirudh grabbed another huge project. It is none other than 'Devara' which is releasing on a pan-Indian level. Anirudh's name on the posters generated a lot of expectations. The background score he gave for the motion poster and glimpse went instantly viral. But his songs are getting a lot of complaints despite ending up as super hits.

The first to be released was 'Fear' song which many pointed out to be similar to 'Badass' which he composed for 'Leo'. After the initial trolls, it ended up being a huge success. The second song 'Chuttamalle' is topping the charts ever since its release. The Telugu version alone crossed 100 million views on YouTube. But many said that it sounded very similar to 'Manike' song by Sri Lankan artist Yohani. There is a bit of truth in it as well.

The third song 'Daavudi' came out recently and it is becoming highly popular due to NTR's energetic dance movies and Janhvi's graceful looks. Anirudh gave a foot-tapping tune that is sure to become a hit but people are criticizing him by saying that it reminds them of 'Arabic Kuthu' in 'Beast' and 'Kaavalayya' in 'Jailer'. It looks like the songs of 'Devara' are creating a bit of a problem for the young composer despite becoming hits.
