The grand launch happened in Mumbai and the team released the trailer in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada languages. The super hit songs and new look of NTR raised the hype massively on this film which is coming in theatres on 27th September. The trailer is filled with intense action moments that will please the fans.
Unlike the promotional content before, Koratala decided to reveal the story of the film. It stars with Prakash Raj's voiceover where he explains the region where people commit crimes and do not know what fear is. NTR aka 'Devara' enters the area and shows them what fear is. He brings change in that region but Saif Ali Khan who plays the villain comes up with a plan. Devara goes into the sea two years back and is nowhere to be seen.
We get to see another NTR who is timid and shy. He ends up in the sea once again. Koratala Siva managed to showcase a good part of the story without revealing everything. It creates curiosity regarding Devara's character. The trailer is filled with a lot of hero elevation shots that will make the fans go crazy. With main preference given to showcasing the basic premise of the movie, Koratala Siva successfully presented what to expect.
The visuals by Rathnavelu are excellent and so is the music by Anirudh which did not dominate the trailer. Janhvi makes her presence felt within her limited screen time. Saif Ali Khan looks menacing and actors like Srikanth, Ajay, Prakash Raj, Shine Tom Chacko and others were present in the trailer as well. It is NTR's show all the way and his magnet screen presence is irreplaceable. Whether it is his body language or the dialogues, he is at the top of his game.
It looks like Koratala and NTR are ready to take over the box office on the 27th with 'Devara Part 1'. Let us see if they become successful at it or not.
