“Great Friend and Brother” – DSP’s Note for Yash

Devi Sri Prasad has thanked Rocking Star Yash for his warm words about his music at the grand Telugu pre-release event of Toxic. DSP shared a video of Yash speaking at the event and posted an emotional message on social media.

DSP thanked Yash for speaking about his music with so much love. He said Yash has always told him personally that he enjoys his music. However, hearing Yash praise his songs on his own stage made DSP feel very special. He also praised Yash for being a grounded, humble and sweet person.

DSP called Yash a great friend and brother and wished him the best for Toxic. He also said he hopes the Rocking Star will continue to entertain audiences around the world with the film.

At the Toxic event in Hyderabad, Yash spoke openly about his favourite Telugu songs. When he was asked about the songs he often enjoys, Yash said that he loves the music of Devi Sri Prasad. He specially mentioned “Dekho Dekho Gabbar Singh” and “Aakaleste Annam Pedta.”

Yash also said that he likes all of DSP’s songs and described the music composer as a dear friend. His words showed the strong bond between the two stars.

Yash has been receiving attention for his praise of his Toxic team. At the same event, he also spoke highly about his co-star Kiara Advani. He called her an amazing actor and an amazing co-star. Yash said audiences will see a new side of Kiara in Toxic and that India will fall in love with her again.

Toxic is directed by Geetu Mohandas. The film stars Yash, Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Akshay Oberoi and Sudev Nair in important roles.

The movie is jointly produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. Toxic is scheduled to release worldwide in theatres on August 26. The film has been made in English and Kannada and will also be available in dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
