Backed by Shirish under the prestigious Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, the film arrives with a concept glimpse that instantly shakes the senses.
The glimpse opens on a haunting visual, with a neem leaf caught in a violent gust, spinning upward as the skies rumble. A goat stands frozen, sensing something divine. As the storm intensifies, the neem leaf ascends into a glowing apparition- the Goddess taking form through wind, rain, and fury. The next moment cuts to a still pond under a grey sky, where a shirtless man sits with a drum tied to his waist. When he turns, Devi Sri Prasad is revealed as Parshi.
DSP’s unpolished, earthy makeover, paired with his own pulsating background score, injects the glimpse with a primal energy. The atmosphere- soaked in folklore, devotion, and rural mystique, suggests a film that leans heavily into cultural authenticity while delivering visual spectacle.
With this electrifying first impression, Yellamma positions itself as a powerful spiritual drama rooted in tradition yet crafted on a grand scale. The film is planned for a wide Pan-India release.
