DSP Reveals How He Composed Srivalli Song!

Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad has been entertaining us with his music over the past two decades. His energy and immense talent are unmatchable. He gave some blockbuster albums which are etched in our memories forever. His melodies are addictive and his mass songs makes you dance unintentionally. He is a specialist in delivering chartbuster item songs. After receiving his much-deserved National Award for 'Pushpa', Devi Sri Prasad talked about the movie's songs and their huge popularity.

He said, "Pushpa winning the National Award is significant because the album has everything. For Srivalli, I got appreciation from classical musicians. Hariharan sir praised the song, while renowned devotional singer Shobha Raju was in love with Oo Antava because it was an experiment with just four musical notes." As we know, Srivalli song was won the hearts of the entire nation and Bunny's step for the hook line became a huge trend as well.

Talking about that particular song, Devi said that he composed the song within four and half minutes. He came up with the basic humming while he was playing guitar and included the heroine's name 'Srivalli' into the tune which prepared the basic song. The lyrics and rest of the instruments came later.

Talking about 'Pushpa 2', Devi revealed, "We have done half the songs of Pushpa 2. We keep improvising, changing a song's beginning, or the lyrics. This time, the story is more thrilling and emotional." As we know, 'Pushpa 2' will be coming out on 15th August 2024.

He is also working on 'Kanguva' starring Suriya, Pawan Kalyan's 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh', Naga Chaitanya's 'Thandel' and a few others.
