Dhanush Sets Internet Ablaze With Fiery Love Statement

Dhanush has had quite a year. He impressed everyone in Kubera under the direction of Sekhar Kammula, starring Rashmika Mandanna. He played the innocent beggar turned billionaire, and then Idly Kadai, where he fulfilled a father’s dream.

Now he’s making his Bollywood comeback with Tere Ishk Mein alongside Kriti Sanon, directed by Aanand L. Rai. Fans still remember the cult romantic hit Raanjhanaa a decade ago, a super hit film starring Sonam Kapoor.

Coming back to 'Tere Ishk Mein', the first song from this movie already went viral, and the trailer dropped yesterday. It has everything that youth need, romance, flirting, betrayal, and sad songs.

But honestly, it’s Dhanush’s statement that’s trending everywhere. At the trailer launch, he said love is “just another overrated emotion.” Boom. That was shortly after his official divorce from Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth in November 2024, and with rumors swirling about him and Mrunal Thakur, people can’t stop talking. Did he mean it casually? Or is it about his character in the movie? Who knows. Either way, India’s buzzing.

Tere Ishk Mein hits screens on 28 November 2025. The trailer gives serious Saiyaara vibes, a breakup story, intense emotions, and music by A.R. Rahman that’s already winning hearts. In just two weeks, we’ll see if this one turns into a cult hit too.
