Dhanush Finally Responds to Negative Publicity Around His Upcoming Film

Dhanush’s last directorial venture, Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, did not do well at the box office. Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam tells the story of a heartbroken young man who agrees to an arranged marriage chosen by his parents. Just when he starts accepting this new path, his former love unexpectedly comes back, making things complicated.

This coming-of-age romantic comedy is written and directed by Dhanush. He also produced the film along with Kasthuri Raja and Vijayalakshmi Kasthuri under Wunderbar Films and RK Productions. The movie stars Pavish Narayan and Mathew Thomas in lead roles. The supporting cast includes Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, R. Sarathkumar, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan.

But he is now focused on his next big project. The actor is gearing up for Kubera, a pan-Indian film directed by Sekhar Kammula, starring alongside Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna.

At the Kubera audio launch in Chennai, Dhanush addressed the rumors and negative talk around him. He said these baseless attacks won’t affect him or the film. He thanked his fans and team for their support during his 23-year career.

Dhanush didn’t hold back, telling those spreading negativity to “go play somewhere else.” He said he has no time for such drama and is confident Kubera will be a blockbuster. Despite the ups and downs in his career, he remains happy and focused on his work.
