Sri Vedaksha Movies bag Dhanush's Idli Kottu Telugu rights for record price

After a blockbuster like Kuberaa, National Award winning actor Dhanush's is starring in his fourth directorial, Idli Kottu. The movie has good anticipation as the songs composed by GV Prakash Kumar have become famous.

As the movie is gearing up for a grand release, there has been competition for Telugu distribution rights. Producer Rama Rao Chintapalli, under the banner of Sri Vedakshara Movies, bought the rights for a record price 6 crore Rupees. It is stated to be highest ever price for a Dhanush film.

Ramarao Chintapalli spoke about his plans and said, "We are planning a grand release for 'Idli Kottu' on October 1st, in the highest number of theaters for a Dhanush film. We will promote the film very aggressively in the Telugu states to ensure a massive opening."

The film features Nithya Menen as the leading lady, with notable actors like Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, Sathyaraj, and Rajkiran in important roles. The movie is stated to be Dhanush's best in family entertainer genre and it is produced by Don Pictures and Wunderbar Films.
