If Dhurandhar Beats Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun’s Words Come True

Releasing in the same month that of Pushpa 2, and almost on the same date, Dhurandhar came out on December 5, 2025, exactly a year after the Allu Arjun starrer, and did the unthinkable. The film already managed a massive collection and appreciation at the Box Office, and is likely to beat Pushpa 2’s final India nett collection by the end of the day.

Allu Arjun once said, his films should create records, other films should break them, and that cycle should go on. Owing to that, now Dhurandhar is likely to enter ₹830 crores nett collection from India alone, breaking Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2’s ₹830 crores nett India collection record by tomorrow, mostly.

Already the film has collected ₹825 crores nett till yesterday (Jan 5), and breaching Pushpa 2’s record is on the cards. That’s the kind of sporting spirit and competitive game advised by Allu Arjun, and also he’s among the top Pan-India star heroes who have acknowledged the success of Dhurandhar through his social media posts.

Even director Aditya Dhar of Dhurandhar fame, has been overwhelmed by the comments of the Pushpa star earlier. While Pushpa 2 record can be achieved by Dhurandhar, surely the film might see tough competition from January 9th as ‘The Raja Saab’ is hitting cinemas in North Indian circuits in a large number of theatres.

Currently, Dhurandhar is collecting close to ₹5 crores even on non-holiday and working days. If that streak gets affected by Raja Saab, the film might end up making around ₹850 crores nett in the long run, from India box office alone.
