While the box office run of this Allu Arjun film is on one side, there is already a parallel talk about the merits and demerits.

While the box office run of this Allu Arjun film is on one side, there is already a parallel talk about the merits and demerits.
One of the main complaints for the film is that Fahad Fazil, who is one of the most gifted actors of this generation in South cinema has been grossly misused in the film.
Those who have watched the film are commenting that Fahad‘s character was criminal, underplayed, and undercooked in the film. While the potential of the actor is anyway not utilised in the film, it is strange to see that his character was oddly under utilised.
In the end, Fahad’s character ends on a very funky and irrational note. However, there might be fair bit of calculation from Sukumar when it comes to presenting this character, the way he did.
Notably, both parts of Pushpa had enough action and intense drama associated with them, and it would have been an overkill had the second part also rallied entirely on the conflict between Allu Arjun and Fahad.
This could be the reason why Sukumar gave Fahad character in the film, a light hearted and easy ending, perhaps to make it look more non-serious and de-escalate the intense narrative. This could have very well been a calculated call from Sukumar, knowing the risks that come with it.
But those who have watched the first part and thought Sukumar would be a super intense and majestic role for Fahad in the second part are now disappointed with what actually happened with this character.
