Dil Raju’s Mega Risk With Huge Fantasy Film!
Long back, Raju thought of doing a fantasy film, a genre that had not been touched by his production house so far.
By: Shanaz B Syed | 1 Jun 2026 1:38 PM ISTAce producer Dil Raju has changed his ways ever since Ram Charan’s Game Changer caused him huge losses. His brother Sirish Reddy even complained that no one from the industry has called them and consoled them after their losses, and that’s how the industry functions. While Raju is starting small-budgeted films like Yellamma on one side, he also recently greenlit Salman Khan’s movie, which is a big-budget one. Here comes another such attempt now.
Long back, Raju thought of doing a fantasy film, a genre that had not been touched by his production house so far. For a story narrated by Indranganti Mohana Krishna, Raju even invested heavily in the pre-production and was in talks with Vijay Devarakonda for a long time. For reasons unknown, that film hasn’t materialised. And now, the senior star producer is taking a risk with a relatively young hero, Roshan Meka, son of actor Srikanth. Reports are coming that the project will be announced officially soon, and Raju will be spending nearly ₹100 crores on this action-fantasy film. Already, a couple of OTT platforms have shown interest in the film as well.
Already, Roshan is becoming a big actor in the industry, and he’s doing back-to-back movies. He currently has Sailesh Kolanu’s Edo Edo Idhi movie lined up, and he is currently shooting for the same. Now that he has such a big entertainer in the lineup, surely it's going to be an exciting lineup for a young actor of this stature. However, at least one film should work big in theatres, as his previous outing, Champion, didn’t turn out to be a commercially successful movie.
