Dil Raju Sticks To Yellamma Despite Delays!

One of the ambitious projects that has been in consideration at the Raju office for a long time now is Yellamma. This project which is going to be directed by talented Venu has undergone significant changes in terms of personnel.

First, it was Nani, who was supposed to play the main lead in this film and Director Venu travelled with him for many months. It was decided mutually that this collaboration would not happen.

Then it was announced by Dil Raju that Hero Nithin would be playing the lead role in the film and certain preparation activities had also happened. But considering the recent form of Nithin, this collaboration was also put on hold. A couple of other young heroes were also in consideration in this period.

But finally, the latest development are suggesting that Raju has fixed on Director Devi Sri Prasad to compose the music and also play the main lead role in this film.

Reportedly Dil Raju will be producing this project on lavish scale and Devi Sri Prasad will be making his debut as a main lead actor in this film. Apart from playing the main lead, he will also score the music and the music settings are happening already.

This is an interesting decision from Dil Raju to go with Devi Sri Giri Prasad for the main lead character, and this must be something fresh for DSP as well. In the meanwhile, Director Venu is confident that he will deliver winning Content, regardless of the Hero, and that is another point that must be noted here.

This project is likely to start with the shooting process early next year and preparing for release by Dasara season. Keerthy Suresh is confirmed to play the female lead character.
