Dil Raju Reveals His First Reaction to Toxic

Yash’s upcoming film Toxic is creating strong excitement among movie lovers. The film’s promotional activities are also getting attention because of the comments made by several celebrities and industry personalities. Today, a special Toxic event was held in Hyderabad, where producer Dil Raju attended and spoke about the film and actor Yash.

During the event, Dil Raju shared an interesting story about Yash and director Geetu Mohandas. He said that after the success of KGF, when Yash introduced Geetu Mohandas as the director of Toxic, many people in the industry were surprised. Dil Raju jokingly said that they even wondered if Yash had gone crazy for choosing such a different project.

However, his opinion changed after seeing the first visuals of the movie in Mumbai. Dil Raju said that the visuals made him understand the kind of vision required to make a film like Toxic. He praised both Yash and Geetu Mohandas for attempting something different and ambitious.

Toxic is directed by Geetu Mohandas and stars Yash in the lead role. The movie also features Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in important roles. The film has been promoted as an intense action thriller with a stylish and unique visual presentation.

The movie is already getting a strong response through advance bookings. Reports suggest that Toxic has sold more than 2.6 lakh tickets in advance, with the total booking value reaching around Rs 19.44 crore when blocked seats are included. Karnataka is currently the biggest market for the film.

Toxic has also received an ‘A’ certificate in India, making it an adult-only theatrical release. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on August 26.
