The movie is nearing the ₹300 crore mark worldwide and has performed especially well in the USA, where it is heading towards $6 million in collections. The film reached its breakeven point shortly after release and has now entered the profit zone.
To celebrate this success, director Sujeeth and music composer Thaman travelled to Dallas, USA, where they attended special screenings and interacted with fans. Pawan Kalyan’s fans in the US gave them a grand welcome, much like the warm reception Sujeeth received earlier in Hyderabad.
Speaking at the event, Sujeeth expressed his happiness over the audience’s positive response. He shared an emotional moment, saying that Pawan Kalyan personally called and hugged him the day after the release, which meant a lot to him. The director said his main goal was to give fans an unforgettable experience rather than worry about how long the film would run in theatres. “It feels great to see the same energy from fans even after ten days of release. Hopefully, next time, I’ll be here from day one,” he added.
Sujeeth also hinted that Part 1 is just a “trial ball,” suggesting that the upcoming sequel will be even more exciting. He thanked Prathyangira Cinemas for handling the screenings efficiently despite last-minute delays. Thaman also praised the US fans, saying their enthusiasm matched that of Hyderabad audiences.
They Call Him OG features Pawan Kalyan, Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Neha Shetty, Sriya Reddy, Arjun Das, and Prakash Raj. It is produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under DVV Entertainments, with music composed by Thaman S.
