Rajni's Voice In 'Lal Salaam' Disappoints Big Time!

Despite having superstar Rajnikanth playing a special role, 'Lal Salaam' is arriving in Telugu with zero buzz. Directed by Rajni's daughter Aishwarya, it is a sports drama that deals with a lot of other issues as well. Set in a rural backdrop, Vishnu Vishal is playing the lead. AR Rahman composed the music while Rajnikanth will be seen playing a character named Moideen.

After a blockbuster like 'Jailer', one expects Rajni's next film to arrive with huge hype. The trailer dropped recently and fans of Superstar were highly disappointed with it. The trailer is okay but it is the dubbing for Rajnikanth that shocked everyone. Veteran actor and dubbing artist Sai Kumar gave his voice to Rajni in Telugu.

Sai Kumar is a well-known dubbing artist and gave his voice to many iconic roles. He even gave voice to Rajnikanth back during his 'Basha' days. But it has been Mano who has been giving his vocals for Rajni for more than two decades in Telugu. The audience got used to listening to Mano's voice for Rajnikanth on the screen. It is quite unusual for the viewers to witness the dubbing change and they are unable to digest it.

Vishnu Rangasamy is the cinematographer. Pravin Baaskar is the editor while Lyca Productions have bankrolled this project. Sri Lakshmi Movies is releasing the film in Telugu. Let us see how the movie turns out when it hits the screens on 9th February.
