Diwali Box Office: What Will Telugu Audience Do?

The Diwali season is finally upon us as the auspicious festival is going to start in roughly a week from now. This naturally warrant a series of new films at the Telugu box office and here is a look into the same.

Notably, we have three prominent films, arriving at the ticket counters, this Diwali festival season and they are K Ramp, Mitra Mandali and Dude.

While the first two films are striped, Telugu comedy entertainers featuring Kiran Abbavaram and Priyadarshi, the other is a Tamil comedy entertainer with Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role.

The interesting thing here is that all three of these films happen to be of the comedy entertainment genre, meaning that the audience will be no short of some wholesome entertainment this weekend.

However, the point of concern here is that the Diwali season has historically been a week one for the South Indian cinema economics. The audience generally invested in celebrating the festival spirit, and not particularly prevalent when it comes to watching films in theatres.

This could be the deciding factor here as all three of these films can sustain at the ticket counters only if they can generate unanimous positive response, right from the opening shows.

It has to be seen which of these films would be able to impress the Telugu audience this Diwali festival season as there is a lot depending on all three of them.
