Double ISMART’s Record-Breaking Digital Rights Deal

The upcoming film Double ISMART, starring Ustaad Ram Pothineni and directed by the dynamic Puri Jagannadh, has secured impressive deals even before its theatrical trailer release. The movie has been highly profitable through both theatrical and non-theatrical business deals.

PrimeShow Entertainment’s K Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy have acquired the theatrical rights for the film at Rs 60 crore. Recently, Amazon Prime Video purchased the digital rights for all South Indian languages—Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam—for a whopping Rs 33 crore. This deal marks the highest ever for Ram Pothineni. Additionally, the audio rights were sold for Rs 9 crore. Negotiations are ongoing for the Hindi satellite and digital rights, as well as the Telugu satellite rights.

Currently, Double ISMART is in the final stages of post-production and has generated significant excitement with its songs and teaser. Regular updates are expected to keep the audience engaged.

In the film, Sanjay Dutt plays the antagonist, while Kavya Thapar stars as Ram’s love interest. The movie is produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under the Puri Connects banner. The music is composed by Mani Sharma, with cinematography by Sam K Naidu and Gianni Gianneli.

Double ISMART is set to hit cinemas worldwide on Independence Day, August 15th, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
