No Release For 'Double Ismart' In March?

Back in November, the team released a crazy poster announcing that 'Double Ismart' has just 100 days to hit the screens. As we know, dashing director Puri Jagannadh revealed that the movie will be arriving on March 8th, 2024 right when the project was announced. The shooting is progressing at a brisk pace and Ram will be seen at his stylish best for this mass action entertainer. The combo of Ram Pothineni and Puri delivered a blockbuster like 'Ismart Shankar' before and 'Double Ismart' is a sequel to it.

Insiders reveal that 'Double Ismart' may not release on the announced date. Apparently, the shooting may go on for another month which leads to less time for post-production. In order to avoid this, the makers are considering other release dates as per reports. The team is yet to start promoting the film. They have released only a couple of posters till date and people are curious to see the teaser and trailer.

'Double Ismart' is a crucial film for Puri Jagannadh as Puri's market and image took a severe beating after 'Liger'. He needs to score a hit to prove that he still has some magic left. Ram is also unable to find a hit in recent times as his action entertainers like 'Skanda', 'The Warriorr' and 'Red' failed at the box office.

Veteran composer Mani Sharma will be giving the music for 'Double Ismart'. Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt is playing a full-length role and his character is named 'Big Bull'. Charmme and Puri will be bankrolling the project while Vishu Reddy is the CEO. The makers will reveal the other cast and crew of the movie soon. Hollywood cinematographer Gianni Giannelli is working for this high-voltage action entertainer. Kecha is the action choreographer. The movie will have a pan-Indian release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages. The heroine of this film is yet to be revealed.
