'Jailer' is an out-and-out Rajnikanth film and all Nelson and Anirudh did were to showcase him in the best way possible. Despite being a one-man show, there are a few actors who stood out. Keeping the cameos of Shiva Rajkumar and Mohanlal aside, it is Yogi Babu in the first half and another guy during the second half. The actor who played the role of a filmmaker who uses Sunil's gifts to win Tamannaah got a lot of recognition.

This actor made the people laugh with his performance as a person who exploits Sunil's innocence in the movie. He is a Telugu person and his name is Sunil Reddy. He is the son of legendary filmmaker Kodanda Ramireddy. The filmmaker has two songs namely Sunil and Vaibhav. The latter made his entry in Tollywood with 'Godava' and did a few other films before settling down in Kollywood. Vaibhav secured a lot of hits and is an established actor in Tamil.

His elder brother Sunil is into acting as well and he shot to fame after his role in Nelson's hit movie 'Doctor'. He makes the audience laugh heavily and Nelson decided to use him in 'Jailer' as well. Though his role was not as funny as his part in 'Doctor', he still managed to make his mark. This way, two Sunils competed for Tamannaah in the movie and one of them were successful. Currently, Sunil Reddy is getting more offers and he is expected to become very soon.
