Mohanlal Announces Drishyam 3 on Social Media

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has officially confirmed that Drishyam 3 is in the works. The announcement has created excitement among fans as the previous two films in the franchise were massive hits. Although details about the cast and release date are yet to be revealed, the confirmation alone has generated high anticipation.

On today, Mohanlal shared the news on social media, writing, “The past never stays silent… Drishyam 3 confirmed!” He also posted a photo with director Jeethu Joseph and producer Antony Perumbavoor who were key figures behind the success of the first two films.

The Drishyam series directed by Jeethu Joseph has gained a strong fan following in India and worldwide. The first film released in 2013 was a game-changer in Malayalam cinema. The plot followed Georgekutty who is a middle-class man who goes to great lengths to protect his family after they become entangled in a crime.

The movie was a critical and commercial success leading to remakes in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. The sequel Drishyam 2 (2021) continued the story. The official confirmation of the third installment has created immense curiosity.
