Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal and director Jeethu Joseph won the hearts of audiences with the first two films, and now fans are eagerly waiting for the third part. In a recent interview, Jeethu Joseph gave some updates about Drishyam 3 and warned viewers to expect something different this time.
He said, “Drishyam 3 will definitely be liked. I am happy with how the first two parts were received. Mohanlal’s character has always been George Kutty for me. Over the past four years, I have made several changes. The third part will not be like the first two. If fans are expecting the same high-intelligence scenes as the second film, they may be disappointed. This story is going in a new direction.” His words have left fans curious about what surprises the film might hold.
Jeethu also explained how he worked on the script. He wrote the screenplay while traveling to Europe and Dubai in April, sometimes waking up at 3:30 in the morning to finish scenes. He prepared five rough copies, shared them with the cameramen and editors, and included their suggestions. Shooting is set to begin next month, starting with scenes involving Mohanlal. The careful planning shows how much effort is going into making this final part memorable.
The Drishyam films revolve around a family caught up in an accidental murder. Mohanlal plays the lead in Malayalam, while Venkatesh has starred in the Telugu versions. The series has collected over Rs. 240 crores at the box office and has been remade in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
