By: Priya Chowdhary Nuthalapti | 17 Sept 2026 12:33 PM ISTDulquer Salmaan’s upcoming Telugu film Aakasamlo Oka Tara has finally got a release date. The makers have announced that the film will reach theatres worldwide on November 20, 2026. The announcement has created interest among Telugu cinema fans, especially because November currently has fewer major releases compared with some other months.
The film is directed by Pavan Sadineni and features Dulquer Salmaan and Satvika Veeravalli in the lead roles. The makers made the release-date announcement through social media on Thursday. The team shared a new message inviting audiences to experience the world of the film in theatres.
Dulquer will be seen as Krishna in the movie. The actor’s character was introduced earlier through a poster released on his birthday. Satvika Veeravalli was also introduced to audiences as an important part of the project.
The story appears to have a strong focus on dreams and determination. Satvika plays a young woman from a remote rural area who dreams of becoming an astronaut. Her ambition is much bigger than the limitations around her. The promotional material shows how people around her question her dream because she comes from a village with limited facilities.
This gives the film an emotional and inspiring backdrop. Instead of presenting only a regular commercial story, Aakasamlo Oka Tara appears to explore the journey of a young woman who wants to achieve something extraordinary.
The movie is being produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam under the Light Box Media banner. Geetha Arts and Swapna Cinemas are presenting the project.
The technical team is another major attraction. G.V. Prakash Kumar, a two-time National Award winner, is composing the music. Sujith Sarang is handling the cinematography, while National Award-winning editor K.L. Praveen is taking care of the editing.
Choosing November 20 gives Aakasamlo Oka Tara a clear window for its theatrical run. With comparatively fewer big films expected around that period, the makers may be looking to give their movie more attention and screen space.
