'Eega' Reference In 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' Gets Huge Response!

During the promotions of 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram', Nani brought up the topic of 'Eega' and said that he would not be in part two even if it is made as Rajamouli made it quite clear. Though it was coincidental to talk about 'Eega' at 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' promotions, it is quite clear that Nani strategically talked about it during the interviews. The movie is out now and it is running quite successfully in theatres.

The mass scenes, Nani and SJ Suryah's performance, the technical quality and everything worked wonders for the film. Though there were complaints about the love story slowing down the movie in the first half, it is beautifully written by Vivek Athreya. It is very decent, adorable and cleverly executed too. The director deftly brought up 'Eega' references during the conversations between hero and heroine.

We don't get a feeling that they are forcefully included. The way the heroine calls herself Samantha in the story and refers to hero Surya as Nani is quite adorable. Calling real-life Nani as 'Eega' Nani resonated well with the audience. The 'Eega' story reference of Nani, Samantha and Kicha Sudeep was used in the heroine proposing her love to the hero too and it is fantastic.

The way the director connected both stories in the love track showcases Vivek Athreya's brilliance. Even at the end, Nani says his iconic 'Nenu Entha Special Ra' dialogue from 'Eega'. All these references brought cheers from the audience and the response has been amazing. With good talk and very good openings, 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' is going to rule the box office for the next few days.
