OG Shoot Stalls Again, All Eyes on Emraan Hashmi's Recovery

Just when things seemed to be picking up for OG, the production hits another speed bump. Emraan Hashmi, cast as the film’s main antagonist, has reportedly contracted dengue, forcing a pause in the shoot yet again. With several key sequences involving him and Pawan Kalyan pending, the schedule has taken a direct hit.

This isn’t the first disruption the project has faced, but Hashmi’s health has now added a layer of uncertainty. The team is said to be scrambling to rework scenes and continue shooting with other cast members, but insiders admit this unexpected gap could make it harder to stick to the September 25th release plan.

While the crew remains optimistic about his swift recovery, the delay has naturally stirred chatter among fans who’ve been closely following the film’s progress. The spotlight now shifts to when the cameras will roll again.

In the meantime, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, another Pawan Kalyan film, is back on track and will resume shoot on June 10, 2025, with the star expected to join shortly after.
