ETV Win Changes Gameplan For Sivaji- Release Stopped

While the background music song from ETV Win’s superhit web series 90s, Sampradayani Suppini Suddhapusani, has gone viral, it is actor Sivaji who has now used it to the core. He has come up with a movie with the same title, and the teaser for it has impressed everyone. But here is another interesting update about this crime thriller.

Apparently, Sampradayani Suppini Suddhapusani is only for the ETVWin release; that’s what even the ETV head confirmed at the trailer launch event. The ETV heads stated that they want some films to be exclusive on their platform and don’t want to go for a theatrical release. But now, after looking at the response the trailer got, they are asking for a theatrical release.

Usually, digital platforms keep the content exclusive for their platform, unless they have in mind from the beginning for the theatrical release. That’s how the likes of Amazon Prime and Netflix work. But it looks like the Telugu market is so vast that ETV Win wants to hit the theatrical space with almost all their unique production ventures. Now, the film is likely to head to theatres for its March 6th theatrical release.

If the film works well, surely that would be beneficial to the original producer, Sivaji himself, but then, the traction that ETV Win might get with a direct release would surely be missed out.
