No Chance Left For 'Family Star' Now!

Despite blasting the reviewers and claiming that the family audiences are encouraging his film, Dil Raju's efforts to make his 'Family Star' successful went in vain. The movie turned out to be a disaster and the talk was very bad from the morning shows itself. The initial weekend, Ugadi, Ramzan and second weekend have all arrived but the collections did not show a lot of improvement.

With no options, many thought that the family audience would go to 'Family Star' but it did not happen at all. Trade pundits predict that the movie may end its theatrical run with a loss of over 10 crores. People are expecting it to be more as well. After knowing the situation, Dil Raju became silent after four days. There were no promotions since then and it had zero buzz around it.

The hero and heroine did not give any interviews. These promotions would have helped if the movie showed signs of picking up but it did not happen. The distributors have lost belief in this project even though there is a long weekend arriving with Sri Rama Navami as well. Compared to 'Family Star', the collections of 'Tillu Square' are better.

Insiders are claiming that the final run of 'Family Star' is quite close and there is even a chance of this film getting on Amazon Prime Video even quicker than expected. As per reports, it should have arrived on 3rd May on the OTT platform but they are planning to release it a week ahead and Dil Raju too reportedly gave his approval. People expected this film to be better than 'Khushi' but it did not happen.
