The anger of a section of fans over a film’s failure has taken a disturbing turn, raising serious concerns about online and offline harassment. Instead of expressing disappointment in a healthy way, some fans have chosen to directly target the film’s director, creating unnecessary trouble and fear.

The incident took place at a premium villa community in Kondapur, where the director lives. According to reports unknown persons placed a huge number of fake orders in the director’s name using food delivery apps like Zomato and Swiggy. Even medical supplies were ordered without his permission. These deliveries arrived continuously throughout the day, creating confusion and stress for the security staff at Kolla Luxuria Villas.

When the security team contacted the director to confirm the orders, he clearly stated that he had not ordered anything. Shockingly, more than 100 delivery packages reached his residence in a single day. The situation became so chaotic that the security staff struggled to manage the inflow of delivery agents. To control the problem, the director finally instructed the security team not to allow any delivery addressed to his name into the premises.

At the same time, another troubling development came to light. Fake Twitter accounts were allegedly created using the name of the film’s creative producer. These accounts reportedly posted abusive content targeting the hero’s fans, which further added fuel to the controversy. Taking the issue seriously, the creative producer, along with a lawyer, approached cybercrime officials and filed a formal complaint.

As the issue continues to go viral, it is important for fans to understand one basic truth about the film industry. No director gets a chance to work on a big film without the hero’s approval. From finalizing shooting schedules to agreeing on reshoots, the hero has significant control over the project. These decisions often increase the film’s budget.

Many star-driven films fail mainly due to high production costs and weak financial returns. Producers also share responsibility, as they must guide heroes to control expenses and follow financial discipline.

Blaming only the director for a film’s failure is unfair and meaningless. The hero holds equal, if not greater, responsibility for the final result. What is truly disappointing is the silence of the hero, who has not publicly supported his director or creative producer, nor asked his fans to stop such irresponsible actions.
