The film has opened to very poor collections at the ticket counters, as it could not generate any momentum ahead of its release as a result of which the advance bookings were very weak.
Every single rupee that the film collected single-handedly goes into the credit of Ram Charan, who pulled this below product on his shoulders.
Till now, the film has reportedly collected in the range of Rs 110 crore nett which is a poor number. In terms of gross revenue, the film might end up collecting in the range of ₹200 crore.
The overall states that were piled upon this Ram Charan film are in the vicinity of ₹450 crore and the film might not be going anywhere remotely close to this number.
At this rate, Game Changer might incur losses in the range of ₹250 crore to producer Dil Raju. The film did a decent non theatrical business as the OTT rights and satellite rights were sold off for decent prices. However, the real speed bump came in the form of the theatrical run of the film as it could head, nowhere at the box office.
Dil Raju could very well be losing a huge amount of money on this film as this white Elephant is turning out to be one of the biggest disasters of all time in Indian cinema. It was a blatant mistake from both Charan and Dil Raju to interest Shankar with the responsibility of handling the former’s immediate next film after RRR.
