Cybercrime Complaint Filed Over 'Game Changer' Piracy

A star hero’s movie made with a global image and costing crores getting leaked online on its release day is a serious issue. The much-awaited film Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and directed by Shankar, faced this challenge on its release day. Produced by Dil Raju and Sirish, the movie’s piracy print was leaked online by a group of 45 individuals.

Before the movie's release, the producers and key team members received threats on social media and WhatsApp. The perpetrators demanded money threatening to leak the movie if their demands were not met. Two days before the release, critical twists of the movie were shared on social media accounts. Post-release, an HD print of the movie was leaked and widely shared on platforms like Telegram and social media.

The Game Changer team lodged a cybercrime complaint against the 45 individuals. The complaint included evidence of their involvement in piracy and spreading negativity about the movie. Investigations are underway to determine if this group acted alone or had external support. Cybercrime police are probing the case and the truth will emerge soon.

Social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube witnessed planned negativity about Game Changer. Some users shared movie clips and revealed key twists affecting the audience's enjoyment. Complaints have also been registered against these accounts and actions are expected soon.
