Another Twist In 'GOG' Release Tale.. New Date Fixed!

There is not much happening at the box office over the past few weeks. After 'Tillu Square', there is not one movie that managed to set the cash registers ringing. People are focused on elections right now and movie lovers are eagerly waiting for the arrival of 'Gangs Of Godavari' which was supposed to hit the screens on 17th May. Krishna Chaitanya is the writer and director of this movie while Sithara Entertainments banner has bankrolled it.

People have been waiting for this film since a long time. They even released a '10 days left' poster to remind the audience but it is being said that there is a change in the reason date again. Going into the reasons, Vishwak Sen is known for picking new storylines. He arrived with 'Gaami' in March and we all know how well it was received by the audience. He appeared as an Aghora in that film.

He is going to arrive with a mass look in 'Gangs Of Godavari'. The story is about a regular young man becoming a political leader with a lot of power according to reports. The recently released teaser got a huge response and the promotional content like songs and posters has created a positive vibe. The makers who planned to release it on the 17th have come up with a new date as per reports. The main reason for it is the elections fever and it is followed by the IPL season who is keeping the audience glued to their screens.

Also, the heat is too heavy this summer season. Experts suggest that the temperatures will escalate even further from next week. Releasing such a good film under such bad circumstances will not be right and it is the reason why the makers have reportedly fixed it on 31st May as the new release date. The elections will be over by then and the cool film can have a grand release on superstar Krishna's birthday.

This is a perfect date according to many as the temperatures will come down and the students will be having holidays as well. There is chance that 'Gangs Of Godavari' might become the best film this summer and we need to see when the makers give out an official confirmation.
