'Geethanjali 2' Team Backs Away From The Crazy Idea!

Horror comedy flick 'Geethanjali' which came in 2014 was a very good hit. The high dose of entertainment with talented comedians like Srinivas Reddy, Satyam Rajesh, Shakalaka Shankar, Saptagiri and others worked wonders for the movie. Anjali who played the title role did a wonderful job and people sometimes watch the comedy scenes for time pass on YouTube.

10 years later, the makers are arriving with the sequel. Titled 'Geethanjali Malli Vachindi', the first look was released a few weeks back and it generated a lot of buzz. Anjali will be playing the title role once again while a lot of comedy actors like Sunil, Srinivas Reddy, Shakalaka Shankar, Satya, Ali and others will be providing maximum entertainment. The team announced that the teaser launch will be organized in the Begumpet graveyard. This publicity stunt by the team generated mixed responses.

Many said that the dead should be respected and they shouldn't be disturbed by such events. Taking all things into consideration, the team decided to go against this idea. They made an announcement saying, “In consideration of the graveyard's sanctity and our team's comfort, we're now hosting the #GeetanjaliMalliVachindi Teaser Launch Event at Daspalla Convention!” They made a few sarcastic remarks like keeping the self-respect of the spirits in mind along with the trembling fear of our own team members, they are changing the venue.

Kona Venkat is presenting this movie while Shiva Turlapati is the director. Praveen Lakkaraju is the music composer while technicians like Narni Srinivas, Sujatha Siddharth, Chota K Prasad, Bhanu Bhogavarapu and Nandu Savirigana have worked on this film. This horror comedy will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada languages. The date of arrival is yet to be announced and the rest of the updates will be coming out soon.
