Do You Know It Ramoji Rao Who Introduced Genelia & Ritesh?

Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza are one of the most adorable married couples in Bollywood. They have two kids and are leading their lives happily. Ritesh is one of the top actors in Marathi and is known for his versatile characters in Bollywood. On the other hand, Genelia was one of the top heroines in the South in the 2000s. She was a part of many blockbuster movies and worked with most of the big heroes in Telugu and Tamil. She did many movies in Hindi as well.

But do you know that it was Ramoji Rao who introduced them in the film industry? As we know, the legendary producer made 'Nuvve Kavali' with Tarun and Richa Pallod back in 2000. It was a sensation back in the day and it is a remake of Malayalam film Niram which came in 1999. Ramoji Rao produced the Hindi version of this film titled 'Tujhe Meri Kasam' under his Usha Kiran banner.

Both Ritesh and Genelia made their debuts with this film. It was a good hit and Vijaya Bhaskar who directed the Hindi version as well. Both of them paid their respects through social media. Riteish wrote, “I am deeply saddened to learn that the Icon, the Legend Shri Ramoji Rao garu is no more. @geneliad and i are actors today thanks to his belief in giving chances to new comers. He dared to do things no one dreamt of. His legacy will live on forever. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Rest in glory Sir.”

Genelia said, “RIP Sir. Words can't express how grateful I am to you .. like @Riteishd said thank you for your belief in newcomers, in a time when they weren't even welcome.. Prayers and strength to the family.”
