Queen Anushka Shetty has been taking long gaps between her films and she is choosing diverse scripts as well. Now, the superstar actress and renowned director Krish Jagarlamudi have come together for their action entertainer, Ghaati. The actress interacted with media about her highly intriguing action epic.
She stated that she is lucky and blessed to have found a role like Sheelavathi. She stated that she loved the subject upon first narration and hence, agreed to be part of the movie. She also stated that she had to play different shades in the role and hence, needed concentrate all her inner strengths for it.
Anushka explained that this role will be highly distinctive from her Arundhati, Rudramadevi and like Saroja, from Vedam, this movie will also portray her in a different angle from previous films. While it is raw and action packed, she remarked that the movie has a very strong emotional core with a postive message.
She expressed her gratitude to Krish for bringing such a career-defining role for her. She remarked that performances of Vikram Prabhu, Chaitanya Rao, music by Sagar and visuals by Manojh will be spectacular. She thanked producers UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments for trusting in her to carry such a role. Ghaati is releasing on 5th September in multiple languages and online bookings are open, now.
