Ghaati: Anushka returns in a powerful role

Anushka Shetty, is set to star in a new movie directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. Initially, the project was kept under wraps, with only a few details emerging. However, it was revealed recently that the film is titled Ghaati.

The announcement came during an event hosted by Amazon Prime Video, which also unveiled the movie's poster. In the poster, Anushka is seen walking with a shawl covering her head, adding an air of mystery to her character. The streaming rights for the movie have been acquired by Amazon Prime Video, but it will be available for streaming only after its theatrical release.

Ghaati promises to offer a unique storyline, focusing on a woman who finds herself entangled in a weed trade due to unforeseen circumstances. This fresh narrative has intrigued audiences, especially given the rarity of such themes in Telugu cinema.

This project marks the second collaboration between Anushka and Krish, following their successful venture "Vedham" over 14 years ago. Their reunion has sparked excitement among fans eager to see their chemistry on screen once again.

The movie is jointly produced by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments, with Krish, Chintakinda Srinivasa Rao, and Burra Sai Madhav credited as the film's writers.

Despite facing delays with his previous project, Krish has now shifted his focus to "Ghaati," bringing together a talented team to bring this captivating story to life.
