Collaboration of Mahesh Babu and Raja Modi is enough to generate a lot of discussion and the same is happening with their upcoming film Varanasi had a massive event yesterday.

The Varanasi (Globe Trotter) event was one of the most anticipated moments across the country. With a massive 130-foot screen, Hollywood-level live streaming, and lakhs of fans gathered, the event began as a true reflection of Rajamouli’s grand vision.

However, despite the enormous planning, a few unexpected issues disrupted the flow he had imagined.

The hosting combination of Suma and Ashish Chanchlani looked perfect on paper, but it didn’t translate the same way on stage. Ashish, who usually garners millions of views on YouTube, appeared unable to handle the pressure of a live event.

His energy dipped, his timing faltered, and his chemistry with the highly experienced Suma didn’t fall into place. As a result, the entire anchoring responsibility shifted onto Suma, leading to social media criticism that “followers don’t matter; stage experience does.”

The major setback came during the screening of the much-awaited concept trailer. When played on the gigantic screen, a technical glitch caused the video to pause repeatedly, visibly upsetting Rajamouli and delaying the event further.

In the end, though the event was grand, it did not reach the level of perfection Rajamouli is known for. The issues underscored how demanding and unpredictable live events can be.
