'Gangs Of Godavari' Trailer: Meet Ruthless Ruffian/Politician Ratna!

The much-awaited theatrical trailer of 'Gangs Of Godavari' is out now. The makers have been promoting the film quite aggressively over the past few weeks. The songs by Yuvan Shankar Raja have already become hits and Vishwak Sen will be seen playing the role of Ratna. He is doing a complete mass avatar in an action film and his makeover is quite amazing. Written and directed by Krishna Chaitanya, this film is going to be a complete action drama set in the Godavari region.

We get introduced to the hero's character through this trailer. He has a lot of shades in him. He is a soft guy with his partner Bujji, ruthless with other gangs, angry when someone disturbs him and has a lot of attitude as well. Vishwak portrayed the character quite well. Anjali suited the role quite well and we get to see shades of Rangamattha character from 'Rangasthalam' after watching the trailer. Nasser will be seen as a very powerful man in the area.

Seems like 'Gangs Of Godavari' is a film that follows the life of Ratna right from his struggling phase to his rise as a politician and his fall as well. The main character is not shown as a good guy in this movie and there is a lot of grey shade as well. The trailer perfectly sets the stage and generates a very good buzz on the movie. The background score, visuals, production values and other elements look great. Neha Shetty looks good and all the other actors fit their roles quite well. Let us see what Krishna Chaitanya and team have in store for us on 31st May.
