If there is one film for which the entire Tollywood is eagerly waiting for, it is 'Game Changer'. This magnum opus political drama featuring Ram Charan in the main role has started rolling long back but the shooting has been halted several times due to legendary director Shankar's prior commitments. With the star director handling 'Game Changer' and 'Indian 2' simultaneously, the shooting has been progressing at a snail pace. The shooting is currently going on and the team is hopeful that the production gets wrapped up in the next couple of months.

As we know, Dil Raju hinted towards a September release but the dates are already being locked by other heroes. With Nani arriving at the end of August and Pawan Kalyan arriving at the end of September with 'OG', there is not much room left. Also, October is filled with big releases like 'Devara', 'Thandel' and others, sources say that the team of 'Game Changer' is looking at other options.

According to trade pundits, the best time to release the pan-Indian political drama is on Christmas. As 25th December is Wednesday, it gives them a long weekend till New Year to set the cash registers ringing. Also, most of theatres will be free till the Sankranti releases arrive which gives 'Game Changer' team ample time to make huge money. This will definitely be a huge advantage and all that Shankar needs to do is give a good product to the audience. But we need to see if the team takes this decision and delay the release further for greater good or tries to release it early in order to please the Mega fans.
