A Huge Responsibility On 'Jersey' Director Now!

Vijay Deverakonda's search for a blockbuster like 'Arjun Reddy' and 'Geetha Govindham' is still going on. His recent flick 'Family Star' turned out to be a disappointment. It would have been good if the film performed well even if it didn't cross his desired 200 crores market. But the movie has drastically slowed down despite Dil Raju's push. The situation is quite bad as the 12th day collections of 'Tillu Square' are more than 'Family Star'.

Now, Vijay is teaming up with 'Jersey' fame Goutham Tinnanuri. The shooting is going to start in the summer and Sithara Entertainments is going to bankroll this project. It was supposed to go on floors in December but Vijay wanted to focus completely on 'Family Star' at that time. In the meanwhile, Goutham made a movie named 'Magic' with a completely new cast and the post-production works are going on right now. He is now going to have a huge responsibility of giving Vijay his much-required success. The budget is going to be huge as well which means that the level of success needs to be bigger.

Goutham too needs a big hit as his 'Jersey' Hindi remake with Shahid Kapoor failed badly. Ram Charan's project got shelved. He needs to prove to big stars that he is worth relying on. He needs to break records and 'Magic' needs to become a hit as well. 'Liger' and 'Family Star' have reduced Vijay's market completely and the young director has a heavy task in his hands right now.
