Indian Actor Claims Credit For Hollywood's Avatar

The marvellous creation of Hollywood's legendary director, James Cameron, Avatar is quite one of the greatest films ever to be made in the history of the global cinema. This film had a sequel recently, and it also performed exceptionally at the box office.

However, coming to the topic now mainstream Hindi actor has claimed credit for this epic Avatar as he said he was the one who suggested the title of this film in the first place.

The actor in question here is Bollywood's legendary comedian Govinda, who is known for playing comedy roles in hundreds of Hindi film. He stated that James Cameron first approached him for a key role in Avatar, but he turned down this opportunity.

Govinda said he was sceptical and anxious about wearing a blue paint as this was the core principal of the film. “I thought the blue paint would bring me health problems and create unnecessary complications. That is the reason why I turned down this film in the first place when Cameron approached me. I was the first person to suggest Avatar as the title of the film.”

Considering the comical nature of Govinda, as an actor and also as a person, we don't know if he made this comment out of comical relief or whether he is actually serious about the same.

If he is actually serious about this topic, then this is hard to comprehend as not many are going to believe that legendary James Cameron came to this Indian actor and got turned down just because of the body paint aspect.
