The recently released trailer has already sparked curiosity among his fans in Telugu states, and the film is all set to hit screens on March 7. However, during the promotions, GV Prakash revealed some painful behind-the-scenes stories, shedding light on the tough hurdles he faced while shooting the film’s most intense sequences.
Talking about the challenges, GV Prakash explained that Kingston is set in a mysterious village near the sea, where a strange curse stops the fishermen from entering the waters. The story revolves around a man who decides to confront this curse and the eerie secrets hidden under the sea. Packed with zombies, supernatural souls, and lost treasures, the film required several high-risk action sequences including a physically demanding boat stunt that left GV with real injuries.
Sharing his experience, GV revealed, “The boat deck was wet and slippery, and while performing action scenes, I kept slipping and hurting my feet and fingers. At one point, there was blood dripping, but I just wrapped it up in a bandage and kept shooting. The story was so powerful and exciting that no pain could stop me from giving my best.” From physical strain to eerie underwater sequences, Kingston pushed the actor far beyond his comfort zone.
With Kingston blending mystery, action, and supernatural thrills, GV Prakash is confident the film will offer a unique cinematic experience to both Tamil and Telugu audiences. And if this boat accident story is anything to go by, it seems the actor’s blood, sweat, and tears have become part of the film itself adding just the kind of real-life drama that makes fans even more curious to watch.
