He delivered a lot of super hit albums in Tamil and the dubbed songs were massive hits in Telugu as well. The star composer always comes up with melodious tunes and trendy tracks. He had given some beautiful tunes for Telugu movies like 'Darling', 'Ullasanga Utsahanga', 'Ongole Gitta' and 'Sir'. Whilst being a music composer, he is also doing films as a hero in Tamil too. Some of his films get dubbed in Telugu as well. His last release was 'DeAr' with Aishwarya Rajesh.
He recently got separated from his wife Saindhavi. The star composer and singer parted ways after staying married for 11 years. This news led to a lot of speculation, false news and trolls. Responding to this, GV Prakash said, “It's disheartening to see people debate about the union or separation of two people without proper understanding. It is unacceptable to pass comments on personal lives just because they're celebrities.”
He added, “Has Tamil people's honor come down so much that they don't realize how their comments hurt people? The reason for our separation has been conveyed to our family members and friends. We decided after careful consideration. I'm writing this to convey that your comments, irrespective of the intentions, are hurtful. Please respect everyone's emotions; thanks to everyone for their support.”
GV Prakash and Saindhavi got married in 2013 and welcomed their baby Anvi in 2020. Announcing their separation, the couple said, “Acknowledging that we're growing apart, we believe this is the best decision for each other. Your understanding and support means a lot during this difficult time.” For people who are unaware, GV Prakash is the son of AR Reihana who is the elder sister of legendary composer AR Rahman.
