Hanuman Ansh: Not So Well At Telugu Box Office

One of the super successful films that’s been made on a minuscule budget in Bollywood in recent times is none other than “Hanuman Ansh”. Made with just a ₹2 crore budget, the film earned over ₹400+ crores in gross collection at the box office, and that made people believe that even the Telugu version will hit things out of the park.

Last Friday, under high expectations, Hanuman Ansh hit cinemas. However, most of the Telugu people living in the interiors and especially in Andhra side, doesn’t know about ‘Neem Karoli Baba’ and for that reason the film hasn’t connected instantly. But here, the film hasn’t worked out much, though Hombale Films made sure that it was released on a grand scale in Telugu and other Southern languages. The numbers are not so big, and they haven’t made any sense either, with a lack of footfalls due to lack of promotions also.

That said, devotional films like Hanuman Ansh that are based on the life and times of some saints should be rightly promoted first; only then would they get huge attention from the audience in territories where those babas are not well known. Hombale Films has missed out on that logic, which otherwise would have made the film good bucks here too.
