A film can become a big hit in one language but fail to impress audiences in other languages. Box office success in one market does not guarantee success everywhere. Every language audience has different tastes, cultural interests and expectations. A film needs the right story, proper promotions and a good release plan to succeed in different markets.

Hanuman Ansh is one example of this situation. The film reportedly collected more than Rs. 400 crore worldwide despite being made on a budget of just Rs. 2 crore. It received a strong response in other markets and became a major talking point. But its Telugu version has failed to create the same impact.

One important reason could be the film's late release in Telugu. The original version arrived in theatres on August 7, 2026 while the Telugu dubbed version was released on October 9. By that time film had already received attention in other markets. But Telugu audience did not get enough information about the film before its release.

Promotions also play a major role in a film's success. When a movie is released in a new language, the makers must introduce its story, characters and importance to local audiences. Many Telugu movie lovers may not know about Karoli Baba and his life. Therefore, the makers needed to explain why his story was special and why audiences should watch the film.

Initially, there were reports that director Trivikram Srinivas would present the film in Telugu. However, that plan did not happen. Hombale Films later released the Telugu version with the support of local distribution partners.

At the same time, a film with a universal story has a better chance of connecting with audiences across different regions. Lack of universal story or lack of nativity and also lack of promotion, all made the film bag disaster at Telugu box office.
