'Hanu-Man' Becomes The Highest Grossing Sankranti Flick!

It collected a huge sum of 265 crores till date and it is still running in theatres. The superhero flick overtook Allu Arjun's 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' which minted 260 crores in its lifetime.

Young and crazy director Prasanth Varma has scored a massive blockbuster in the form of 'Hanu-Man'. The movie was released in the midst of heavy competition and emerged as the outright winner. The makers officially announced that it got over 250 crore collections a few weeks back. The film even collected over $5 million in the US market. Now, the movie emerged as the highest grossing Sankranti movie in Tollywood.

It collected a huge sum of 265 crores till date and it is still running in theatres. The superhero flick overtook Allu Arjun's 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' which minted 260 crores in its lifetime. The third place was occupied by 'Waltair Veerayya' which earned 230 crores. While 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' got 220 crores, 'Guntur Karam' took the fifth place with 176 crores.

'Khaidi No 150' which was released back in 2017 got 165 crores and the next place is occupied by Venkatesh and Varun Tej's 'F2' which minted 130 crores. NBK's 'Veera Simha Reddy' which earned 127 crores came out last year. Even Prasanth Varma wouldn't have expected this level of success when he started 'Hanu-Man' and the entire team is overjoyed by these humongous collections.

Produced by K Niranjan Reddy of PrimeShow Entertainments, the movie is released in Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese languages. Prasanth Varma already announced that 'Jai Hanuman' will be released in 2025. Teja Sajja is the hero while Amrita Aiyer is the heroine. Vinay Rai played the villain role. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar played a key role along with other actors like Samuthirakani, Getup Srinu, Vennela Kishore and others.
