Harish Shankar Finally Understood UBS Debacle: Very Good?

The first step of returning to success is by acknowledging the defeat and setback in the first place, and this is where several Telugu directors have been suffering from lack of reality check in recent times.

This was precisely the case with Harish Shankar as well, considering that he had been of the assumption that Ustad Bhagat Singh was a big hit.

Several times in the recent past, Harish had been commenting that Pawan Kalyan’s fans had great words to say about the film. This was clearly of the implication that he felt he made a good film, but certain audience did not like it, which is the exact opposite to reality.

However, Harish appears to have a significant check of reality as the same is to be understood from his latest comment While taking part in a film promotional event today, Harish Shankar stated that it is a fact that his previous film did not perform as well as expected.

I understand, the kind of public feedback that I have been receiving, and this is due to the failure of my previous film. But this isn’t something strange or unprecedented either as I had faced similar situations in the past. I directed nine film till now, and I had gone through 19 films, which did not make it to the sets, Harish said.

The commercial Director added that he is going to collaborate with trending OTT platform, ETV win for an upcoming project. However, he will not be directing this film, and instead, he will be writing and producing it.

Now that Harish has fully acknowledged the failure of Ustad Bhagat Singh, the expectation is that he would change his method of operation and enhance the kind of films that he makes in the future.
