Director Harish Shankar has spoken clearly about the political talk surrounding his upcoming film Ustaad Bhagat Singh. The movie stars Pawan Kalyan in the lead role and is one of the most awaited Telugu films of 2026. After the release of the second single, Aura of Ustaad, the song received a very positive response from fans and music lovers.

However, along with the praise, a few people started discussing that the film might include political comments or hidden messages. Some felt that the scenes and dialogues may be designed to highlight Pawan Kalyan’s political image. These talks became strong on social media, which led Harish Shankar to respond directly.

In a special video message, Harish Shankar clarified the issue in simple words. He reminded everyone that Pawan Kalyan himself always believes cinema and politics should be kept separate. The director said that Pawan Kalyan was very clear from the beginning and told the team not to add any political references in the film. Harish Shankar shared that “he said cinema is cinema, and politics is politics.”

The director also spoke about Pawan Kalyan’s wide fan base. He explained that the actor has admirers from all political parties and different backgrounds. Keeping this in mind, the film was made only to entertain audiences. Harish Shankar added that “he said the aim is not to hurt anyone’s feelings but to make everyone enjoy the movie.”

At the same time, the director assured fans that there will be powerful elevations for Pawan Kalyan. He promised that “he said PSPK fans will see him in a next-level mass avatar.” But he also made it very clear that none of these scenes are connected to real-life politics or political comparisons.

The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers on a grand scale. Music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, and both released songs have already become chartbusters.

With all doubts now cleared, Ustaad Bhagat Singh is gearing up for a worldwide release on March 26, 2026.
