This film became more than just another project for Harish Shankar. For him, it turned into a mission that required a lot of hard work and dedication.
At first, Harish Shankar thought about making a love story similar to the classic film Kushi. However, he later felt that such a story might not suit the powerful combination of him and Pawan Kalyan. Because of this, he decided to create a completely new and powerful story that would match the expectations of fans.
Harish Shankar played a major role in almost every part of the film’s production. He did not just focus on directing but also took responsibility for completing the shoot, checking the final edit, and improving the overall quality of the movie. His passion for cinema pushed him to handle many tasks himself.
The film’s production also faced several problems. One of the biggest challenges was Pawan Kalyan’s busy political schedule. This made it difficult to complete the shoot on time. In addition, the release date of the film was suddenly moved earlier, which created extra pressure on the team.
Even during these tough situations, Harish Shankar continued working without rest. It is said that he slept only two or three hours a day while completing the film. His main goal was to prepare the first copy of the movie as quickly as possible.
At the same time, he also made sure that the film stayed in the news. Within a short period, the team released songs, a teaser, and a trailer. All these promotional materials received a very good response from the audience.
Another important change happened when the music responsibilities moved from Devi Sri Prasad to S Thaman. Harish Shankar personally supervised the background score and ensured that the music matched the film’s energy.
Since Pawan Kalyan was busy, Harish Shankar also handled most of the promotions. For nearly twenty days, he attended interviews, media events, and promotional programs alone.
During the pre-release event, Pawan Kalyan appreciated Harish Shankar for his dedication and for completing the film’s work within such a short time. Today, the strong buzz around Ustaad Bhagat Singh clearly shows how much effort Harish Shankar has put into the project.
