Harish Shankar Says Pawan Kalyan Never Compromised Values for Money

Director Harish Shankar has shared strong words about Pawan Kalyan during the event of the movie Ustaad Bhagat Singh in Hyderabad. The film is all set for a grand theatrical release on March 26, 2026.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the movie stars Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna as the female leads. The entire shooting of the film has already been completed.

At Mallareddy University, the makers released the second single titled “Aura of Ustaad” in front of students. During this event, Harish Shankar spoke openly about Pawan Kalyan’s life, values, and discipline.

He said, "After Gabbar Singh became a big hit, many producers came to Pawan Kalyan garu to make films. Even big corporate companies approached him for advertisements. In 2012, there was no pan-India concept. They offered him the same amount that Shah Rukh Khan was taking for ads. But Pawan Kalyan garu refused. He said some products are not good for health and not good for children. I saw him leaving crores of rupees in front of my eyes."

Talking about the song, Harish Shankar added, "Usually, hero introduction songs can suit any hero. But Chandrabose wrote every word of this song only keeping Pawan Kalyan in mind. We completed the song in just 8 hours."

He further said, "This song did not come because of fanism. It came from understanding Pawan Kalyan’s lifestyle, cinema journey, and political journey. Every line reminds us of Kalyan garu. His success did not come overnight, and that truth is clearly heard in the song."

The music for the song was composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while the lyrics were written by Chandrabose. Harish Shankar concluded by saying, "Fans do palabhishekam for Pawan Kalyan. DSP did song abhishekam, and Chandrabose did sirabhishekam. Everything that Pawan Kalyan fans want will be there in this film. The movie will release on March 26.
