Harish Shankar Making Too Many Promises?

While the release of “Ustaad Gabbar Singh” is set for March 19th, director Harish Shankar has already started his promotions in a big way. Irrespective of when the trailer will come, the pre-release event happens, or anything else, the talented filmmaker is going viral on the internet with various interviews and how he’s lifting the hype around the movie.

Apparently, Harish stated that the film will be a proper tribute to Gabbar Singh lovers and will be an extension of what he has done there. He also stated that more than Interstellar, Boyapati’s Simha ran well in theatres, and he’s making a film for those crowds who enjoyed Simha like commercial movies. At the same time, Harish Shankar lifts Mahesh Babu to the sky, saying that during Gaddalakonda Ganesh's success, Mahesh invited him to his ad-film sets and praised him. He stated that taking potshots at Mahesh will make him blind.

All these revelations by Harish Shankar are sounding like too many promises about Pawan Kalyan’s movie, Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Only if the film lives up to the hype Harish is making, fans might get the real excitement inside theatres. Otherwise, the situation would be tough for Harish Shankar. With the songs not becoming big chartbusters like #OG and with Devi Sri Prasad not providing the score but Thaman doing it, already there’s a lot of divide talk. Hope Harish’s promises don’t create further rifts with elevations gone wrong.
