Debut director Shouryuv's upcoming film "Hi Nanna," starring Nani and Mrunal Thakur, is set to release on December 7. This movie is touted to be a romantic comedy focusing on a man's relationships with his daughter and his partner. Ahead of film's release, movie teams unveiled the trailer today.

The trailer offers a sneak peek into the bond between Nani's character and his daughter, particularly her curiosity about her mother. The intriguing opening scene features Viraj (played by Nani) narrating a story to his child about a king without a queen. When the child asks about her mother's story, Viraj seems to be keeping some things hidden. Yashna (played by Mrunal Thakur) suggests the girl imagine her as her mother, hinting that Shruti Haasan's character might be the girl's biological mother. Although not everything is revealed, the trailer suggests there will be much to explore in the film's storyline.

Meanwhile, Nani has been actively promoting the movie, using various strategies that have been well-received. The teaser showcased the heartwarming essence of the film, and Nani has openly expressed to fans that they will love it. Leveraging the upcoming Telangana elections, Nani even dressed up as a politician and released a 'manifesto' for a fictional political party, which amused his fans.

Prior to "Hi Nanna," Nani was last seen in "Dasara" earlier this year. Following this film, he is set to appear in an installment of "HIT," directed by Sailesh Kolanu. Currently, he's filming "Saripoda Sanivaram" with Vivek Athreya after the success of their previous collaboration, "Ante Sundaraniki."
